Position: IP & Tech Transfer Executive

There is an immediate opening for a IP and Tech Transfer Executive. The person has to be involved in all the Intellectual Property Rights related and the Technology transfer related work for the new process concepts. Candidate must be milestone driven, ability to be self-managing and task focused. Willingness and ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced company is necessary. The job opening is in Pune (Maharashtra).

Key responsibilities include:

IP asset management and documentation

Providing support to the intellectual property of an organization and maintains a portfolio of the patents.

Oversees research on developments in IP and patent law and provides support in the preparation and filing of patents.

Technology Licensing and related documentation.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary technical groups and exhibiting strong teamwork and communication skills.

Participate in technology commercialization effort and Typically reports to top management.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty preferred Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering /Bioprocess Technology / Pharmacy.
Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work

Basic Knowledge of process design, process control, modelling, optimization, and automation.
Strong interest in teamwork, motivated and demonstrated leadership aptitude is important.

Process Engineering

Position: Process Engineer

There is an immediate opening for a Process Engineer. Process Engineers are involved in engineering, conceptual design, flowsheet simulation, scale-up and piloting of new process concepts. Candidate must be milestone driven, ability to be self-managing and task focused. Willingness and ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced company is necessary. The job opening is in Pune (Maharashtra).

Key responsibilities include:

Working on PFD, P & ID and flow sheet development, analysis and interpretation of laboratory data, equipment design with implementation, and economic analysis.

Participate in developing new technologies and leveraging existing technologies.

Participate and make significant contributions in scale-up and piloting activities.

Supervise and participate in pilot and commercial plant operation.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary technical groups and exhibiting strong teamwork and communication skills.

Participate in technology commercialization effort.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering
Knowledge of process design, process control, modelling, reactor and separation system design, optimization, energy balance, mass balance and autonation.
Experience in designing, installing and operating lab/pilot scale setups is desirable.
Strong interest in teamwork, motivated, and demonstrated leadership aptitude is important.

Additional skills desired:

Process simulation in Aspen, Hysys; AutoCAD, and Other programming skills desirable.
